Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Develop annual marketing plans, including complete
business review and development of contingency
plans
- Develop specific Marketing Plans to increase share of
core brands
- Simplify business through growth of key customers and
reduction of small custom accounts
- Increase penetration of lodging customers with sales
of janitorial products
- Develop and execute major end-buyer and distributor
promotional programs
- Monitor brand performance using sales reports and
contact with Sales and Key Customers
- Review, evaluate, and recommend pricing based on
changes in Market and internal costs
- Maintain communication with Sales and Key Customers
for current Market information
- Forecast volume, price, and marketing line items of
P&L for inventory and income planning purposes
- Direct production of effective packaging, sales
materials and end-buyer/distributor
communication
- Regularly prepare and present business results to
Senior Management
- Interact with communication agencies, trade
organizations and end-buyer groups
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- 5+ years marketing experience, experience within
Commercial Markets field desired
- PC proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office
products preferred
- College degree required. MBA preferred
- Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge
of Commercial Markets industry including major
competitors, target users, industry trends, and
distribution channels
- Successful candidate will have excellent
interpersonal/communication skills; proven
analytical and quantitative skills; and strong
organizational skills
- Experience managing projects and coordinating with
Sales, R&D, Finance and Manufacturing
