Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing all sales, marketing and
strategic inventory decisions for the TPPBU
- Responsible for managing the implementation of various
high profile national contracts
- Will develop, negotiate and close new contracts with
national purchasing organization
- Direct day-to-day operations of the "spot marker"
telesales group: determining pricing strategy,
inventory investment, commission adjustment,
etc.
- Responsible for marketing strategies that will
reinforce NSS' position as the leading plasma
products distributor
- Identify and define improvements to the inventory
management and purchasing systems
- Develop strong relationships with mid-level management
at all plasma products manufacturers, peer
management at all GPO and national account
organizations
- Responsible for sales and marketing programs for
partner pharmaceutical companies that will lead
to an improved competitive position for NSS.
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- Minimum of five years of diversified sales and
marketing experience in a growth oriented
pharmaceutical or health care service company
- Requires exceptional leadership skills, creativity,
energy, and initiative and the ability to lead
in an unstructured environment
- Plasma Products sales and marketing experience a plus
- Experience in managing relationships with national
contracts and the ability to organize large
amounts of data a plus
- Proven ability of sound business judgements and
telemarketing experience desired
- Willing to travel: 20 - 25% of time
