Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                                 - Proactive - Advise company on structure or legal operation to   affect their tax burden, i.e., sales contracts,   leases, lots of mergers & acquisition work,   ramification for state taxes
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred                                                                 - Strong preference for Masters in Tax and/or JD with   LLM - not required at this level - CPA strongly preferred - Multi-state, state and local projects - If from industry, how much did they work with people   outside of the tax departments - Some federal experience because they would understand   how state & federal impact each other - Income tax on corporation - Franchise tax: "doing business" tax
