Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                                 - Responsible for physical distribution, transportation,   purchasing, and inventory management for two   distribution centers - Maintain high quality, great speed and a reasonable   cost - Manage purchasing of $40-50MM in goods from Asian   suppliers - Manage two distribution centers with a total of   250,000 square feet - Maintain and improve vendor relations - Implement and monitor inventory controls - Manage inventory which includes multiple SKU's - Supply chain management
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred                                                                 - Bachelor's degree preferred - 8+ years of related experience - Experience dealing with small products in a primarily   manual distribution environment - People management- managing, directing, and motivating   departmental employees - Performance management- ability to manage cost while   maintaining high quality - Experience in importing (Asian importing experience is   a plus) - Inventory management experience including inventory   flow planning - Service oriented - Excellent communication skills - Experience with EDI is a plus - Experience in low-capital intensive distribution - Experience working and managing in a team environment - Ability to cut cost while improving quality and speed
