Competitive base salary and commissions to equal 6 figures plus car allowance
Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Market products and services to
wholesale/correspondent lenders within an
assigned geographic area
- Develop prospects through research and make follow-up
calls, including cold calling
- Build rapport and develop relationship through
effective communication and presentation
- Coordinate and present training seminars for
correspondents to explain products and
procedures in detail
- Establish marketing goals to ensure share of market
and profitability of products and/or services
- Execute short/long range marketing plans and programs
to ensure profit growth and expansion of
products/services
- Monitor financial, technological, and demographic
factors to capitalize on market opportunities
and minimize the effects of competitive
activity
- Control marketing results so that corrective action
will achieve marketing objectives within
designated budgets
- Evaluate market reactions to loan programs and product
pricing to ensure the timely adjustment of
marketing strategy and plans to meet changing
market and competitive conditions
- Prepare marketing activity reports
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of two to three years
related industry experience
- Second mortgage industry experience with demonstrated
knowledge of loan origination, processing and
underwriting
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common
technical journals, financial reports, and
legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
and present information to public groups and/or
individuals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as
discounts, interest, proportions, percentages
and rations
- Ability to apply this knowledge to various sales and
marketing situations
- Ability to utilize spreadsheet and presentation
software
- Problems solving to deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists
- Daily travel is required within the assigned territory
and 20-40% overnight per month
- Office may be based out of company facilities or may
require employee to work from "Home Office"
