Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                                 - Manage the purchase of goods and services used within   the company - Negotiate and maintain supply agreements and contracts   with suppliers - Develop and continuously improve a supplier base   capable of meeting the needs of the company - Insure consistency of purchasing policies and   procedures accross all sites - Implement cost reduction programs in support of   company goals - Provide strategic vision and leadership for the   purchasing and supplier quality efforts
