Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                                 - Utilize modern, intranet technologies - Integrate editorial, marketing and sales information - Support the financial, general and administration   information needs both within and outside these   respective functions. - Coordinate with other offices on major development   projects. e.g., Global Fulfillment. PeopleSoft,   etc. - Communicate directly with other divisions and branch   offices as appropriate - Utilize the Advisory Board (via quarterly meeting) to   communicate significant IT issues - Respond to his/her "internal customer's" business   information and technology needs. - Assist the business units to develop a long-range   information technology plan
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred                                                                 - Hands-on Development, Project Management, and Database   administration - A database expert to design, develop, deploy and   maintain a collection of industrial-strength   databases - 4+ years experience with SQL databases and strong   motivation to expand knowledge of WEB   programming - Working knowledge in the following environments: Lotus   Notes, Access, NT Back Office, NT systems, etc. - High energy, great communication skills and natural   leadership abilities - Proven ability to manage a global IT staff of 10 - Must work with departments to ensure information needs   of publishing teams are met - Prefer industry experience in publishing, media or   consumer products
