Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                                 - Customer Responsibilities: - Define and be accountable for technical architecture   for a project in all layers of internet   architectures - Support sales and marketing efforts, including bid/no   bid analysis - Function as team leader for small group of developers - Conduct QA and audits on specified projects assigned   by DOT and MOT - Assess technical risks and prepare contingency   procedures - Ensure implementation reuse strategy on assigned   projects   - Strategic Responsibilities: - Develop technical architecture methodologies, training   plans that can be used in future development   efforts - Evaluate and recommend new technologies to be used by   the company - Assist in development of model architectures   - Human Resource Responsibilities: - Assist in defining technical architecture skills   required to support development process - Responsible for supporting the recruiting process - Serve as mentor in technology personnel - Responsible for supporting recruiting process   - Authority: - Create technical architecture provided in proposals - Recommend to Director of Technology allocation of   technical resources required to support   proposals and projects
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred                                                                   Measurements: - Success of technical architecture recommendations - Achieve 90% favorable customer references - Completeness and accuracy of QA reviews - Adherence to reuse and model architecture strategy on   assigned projects - 100% on time performance evaluations for assigned   reviews - Knowledge and currency of architecture layers - Working knowldge of all or most of the following: -   Windows 95 and NT - UNIX - Sybase - Microsoft   SQL Server - C++ - Java - HTML
