Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                                 - Customer Responsibilities: - Responsible for technical initiatives within a   delivery center. - Report to Executive Director on a day-to-day basis;   report to Technology Director on a dotted line   basis - Ensure adherence to reuse and model architecture   strategy across all projects within delivery   center - Responsible for technical viability of proposed   solutions and manage implementation of these   solutions for delivery center - Implementation of common technology practices and   architectures within delivery center - Implementation of quality assurance program for the   region - Support approved bid & proposal efforts by developing   technical architecture solutions, work   programs, contest negotiations - Conduct QAL on large bids and projects - Consult with senior members of client's management   team on con-sulting engagements   - Strategic Responsibilities: - Assist in implementation and communica-tion of   technology vision both externally and   internally - Acquiring/building skills to support technology vision   for the region - Participate in technology planning process - Assist in establishment and arrangement of technical   relation-ship with key vendors - Assist in developing technology hiring and training   plan - Evaluate and recommend new technologies to be used by   the company - Implement reuse strategy within delivery center   - Human Resource Responsibilities: - Responsible for ensuring timely performance   evaluations for all assigned technology   personnel - Responsible for supporting recruiting process within   delivery center - Responsible for growth of technology personnel within   delivery center - Assist in defining technology skills required to   support company strategies - Work with human resource staffing function to direct   appropriate technology resources to required   projects - Responsible for retention of technology personnel   within deliv-ery center   - Authority: - Hire/fire regional technology staff (in accordance   with human resource policies and employ-ment   laws) - Allocate resources required to support   projects/proposals - Approve technical architectures and approaches   provided by pro-posals - Make commitments to customers pertaining to technology   issues
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred                                                                 - 8+ years of experience - Achieve 50% favorable   customer references within region - Retention of regional technology staff - Utilization of regional technology staff at 95% - Achieve 90% favorable team references within region - 100% on time employee performance evaluation for   technical staff within delivery center -   Knowledge and currency of technology - Working   knowledge of all or most of the following -   Windows 95 and NT - UNIX - Sybase - Microsoft   SQL Server - C++ - Java - HTML
