Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior recruiter, responsible for all
aspects of office staffing
- Identifies, recruits and selects qualified
experienced-hire, client-service personnel for
Management Consulting. Works closely with Area
Recruiting Manager and Regional Director of
Recruiting to identify and define specific
new-hire requirements.
- Assists in developing and implementing alternative
recruiting strategies to meet the needs of the
experienced hire recruitment effort for
Management Consulting
- Maintains efficient recruiting procedures and
standards to assure that the local area office
attracts and retains qualified personnel to
meet professional hiring needs
- Keeps abreast of market factors such as competitive
compensation/benefits packages and other market
conditions at the staff, senior, manager, and
senior manager levels
- Maintains appropriate employment records and systems,
including, but not limited to requisitions,
application forms, resumes, investigation
reports, etc.
- Supports the use of the regional applicant tracking
system
- Utilizes the preferred provider methodology relating
to employment vendors. Maintains a standardized
vendor feed schedule for the area
- Administers reference checks, background
investigations and other activities used to
confirm applicant information
- Coordinates with area, regional, and national
recruitment entities to achieve a one-firm
presence with the firm's outside recruitment
resources, (i.e., BSA, search firms, etc.)
- Insure that each candidate is treated with courtesy
and respect while maintaining and protecting
confidentiality
- Remain current in firm events, activities,
initiatives, methodologies, and positions
- Read and distribute industry-relevant information as
appropriate
- Enhance and maintain knowledgebase of general Human
Resources issues, with emphasis on those
relating to employment
- Planning, executing, and monitoring full effective
utilization of all recruiting sources
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
- Client service orientation
- 7-10 years recruiting experience, including experience
with recruiting experienced staff (Managers and
Senior Managers)
- Must have IT recruiting experience
- Understanding of the concept of consensus of
authority, as opposed to single-line reporting
relationships
- Possess and project confidence, executive presence,
and positive self-image
