Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
-These positions report both through the Area Business
Unit structure, who act as local general management
teams representing all functions of the local P&L,
and through the Corporate Human Resources
function that determines broad strategy and
technical expertise
-They will support client groups of 300-700 employees,
both union and non-union
- These Human Resources opportunities require strong
generalist experience
- Candidates should be versed in labor, employee
relations, change management, diversity,
union-free maintenance and management/organizational
development at the client level.
- Exposure and involvement and change management skills
are of significant importance in balance with a
strong technical set of skills.
- Five to ten years of relevant Human Resources experience
in a high profile manufacturing or sales environment
is required.
- An advanced degree is desirable.
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
- 2-7 years experience required, some field
experience preferred
- Candidates for these opportunities must have
strong transaction skills, be organized and
adept at managing multiple priorities.
- The ability to influence and impact business
situations/decisions is a necessary skill.
- In addition, they must be flexible and adaptable
to work independently.
- A business partnership role is critical to the
success of the business and Human Resource
initiatives.
- A demonstrated track record of business insight
and perspective is key to success in this role.
