Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, implementationand
delivery of competitive, innovative and low
cost Human Resources
- Design information systems and processes that support
the Human Resources Mission and achievement of
the Human Resources Vision for a client base in
excess of 1,100
- Serve as a project leader of an interdisciplinary team
that is responsible for moving all HRIS
services to other providers
- Consult and assist the HR organization in maximizing
the efficiency of HR Processes and the use of
purchased technology to identify and meet HR's
needs and their clients (external) needs
- Provide accurate and easily accessible information and
analysis that is needed and useful in making
business decisions
- Automate and streamline HR administrative processes
- Link strategy with Information Services strategy,
especially with regards to SAP
- Increase efficiency and employee/manager
accountability in HR processes
- Develop and successfully implement a conversion plan
- Insure proper controls are maintained over outsourced
businesses and service providers
- Responsible for negotiation and administration of all
contracts relating to the provision of HRIS
services to insure that quality standards are
achieved and continously improved
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- Bachelors degree
- 10-12 years business experience with a minimum of 3-5
years managing HRIS function or consulting on
HRIS systems environment and database know-how
and succesful implementation of a pc-based HRIS
system
- HR process redesign and SAP experience is a plus
- Strong service and problem solving orientation that is
customer focused and results oriented
- Ability to communicate technical information in a
non-technical manner
- Ability to understand and effect improvement in
organizational process is needed
- Strong listening, problem identification, problem
resolution skills and negotiating skills are
required
- Ability to work effectively with people from a
diversity of disciplines and variety of levels
