Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                                 - Act as a key member of the management team reporting   directly to the Vice President of Human   Resources - Responsible for the development and implementation of   processes including recruiting, performance   management, training and development for ground   staff and flight crew - Due to the rapid growth of the company, the Director   of Human Resources will bring world class   leadership, creativity and drive to this   dynamic and highly entrepreneurial environment - Responsible for shaping a culture of accountability,   support, recognition and rewards - Take a critical leadership role in building commitment   for change as well as leading and supporting   change to enable the company to achieve its   aggressive plans for growth
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred                                                                 - Four year degree in Human Resources or related field   with a graduate degree preferred - Must possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive   human resources experience in an organization   known for their qualities and the innovative   nature of their human resources function - Airline industry experience not required, however some   background in labor relations would be a plus - Must be well suited for a fast paced, high growth   rate, entrepreneurial environment - Ability to lead and interact at the senior levels of   the organization - Must be comfortable rolling up sleeves in a lean   environment where limited structure and policy   currently exist - Must possess strong team, interpersonal and   communication skills - Ability to be supportive and mentally tough in equal   measures
