MANAGING DIRECTOR

A well–funded, high-potential start-up company formed to the serve the needs of the small office/remote office (SoRo) IT market.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·        Delivery of P&L for the business through successful implementation of the field strategy including regional deployment strategy, Local deployment strategy and regional sales strategy

·        To work with the VP Operations to finalize and agree upon strategy and budget for the region

·        Implementation of Regional Operations strategy at all levels

·        Management of the Region

·        Full P&L responsibility for the Region

·        Coordination with appropriate groups on strategy and tactics; training strategy and implementation; HR strategy and implementation; Field financial policies, procedures, controls and systems, procurement and leasing, and marketing on product development and deployment

 

Professional Background and Experience:

 

·       Experience building an entire Region field organization, or several large local offices

·       Managed, from a national or large regional vantage point, a geographically diverse, multi-office organization with regions, local offices, and sales force

·       Had full P&L responsibility

·       Experience in company which has a technical services environment with focus on small business as target customer would be ideal

·       Experience in company where revenue producers were technical in nature and has personally sold technical professional services

·       Experience building customer service as the dominant orientation and is people focused and accountable for results

·       Participant or lead decision maker who has been integral in designing organizational structure; relationships to corporate; regional structure; office structure; and sales model

·       Success because of achievement of rapid revenue growth; rapid geographic dispersion; and profitability

·       Highly successful recruiter of key management and staff (this is the second most import activity of the position after sales)

·       Have local knowledge of the Region such as comprehensive knowledge of the business demographics, traffic flow, etc.

 

Compensation:  

 

A cash compensation package typical of a start-up company, consisting of a six-figure bases salary, and equity, in the form of incentive stock options with high upside potential
