Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the company and its
constituencies, coordinating investor relations
activities
- Develop and execute a pro-active investor relations
program for shareholders, analysts and the
investment community
- Ensure that information is adequately disseminated
to investors and the financial press, and
accurately reflects the company's financial
performance and opportunities
- Develop favorable relationships with the investment
community
- Coordinate all activities related to investor and
financial media meetings including: scheduling
and logistics, development of message and theme,
preparation of presentation materials,
summarization and analysis
- Participate in the development and production of
financial communications including press releases,
quarterly earning statements, annual reports, fact
books and shareholder correspondence
- Develop and maintain economic business data on industry
trends, assist analysts in the preparation of
research reports on the company, and respond to
their inquiries
- Monitor and keep the treasury informed on trading
activities and provide management with information
regarding developments in the financial markets as
they relate to the corporations's long and
short-term planning
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- Minimum of undergraduate in communications or
economics related field
- Minimum seven to ten years experience in
financial/investor relations position preferably
in a high technology company
- Must have strong writing skills beyond the
annual report level
- Knowledge of financial modeling
- Familiarity with Wall Street and an ability to
interface with analyst
- Must be upbeat, optimistic and flexible
