Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Audits/Controls reviews (plant, distribution centers)
- includes planning, scheduling, identifying
exposure areas, sharing recommendations, follow-up
- Liaison with Parent Corporate Audit - includes assisting
in guiding audit approach, facilitation of management
response to audit comments, participation in action
plans (approx. 30 audits/year)
- Special projects - wide ranging business issues,
new systems implementation review, pull together
policies, work with Parent, handle
emergencies (fraud, disaster)
- Assistance in process flow documentation for Marketing
and S&D processes, assisting facilitation of national
tractor trailer inventory, preparing a disaster recovery
plan for Controller function, various projects
assessing inventory control weaknesses involving
visiting the field and providing control recommendations,
best practices compilation in inventory areas involving
honor checkout, alternate delivery systems, and
implementation of a new inventory control system,
preparation of new guidelines around long-term
commitments
- Recruiting - assist with college recruiting
(Career Fairs, on campus receptions,
on-site interview planning)
- Position details:
- will include some travel
(approx. 20-30%, relatively short duration)
- will be an individual contributor
- will be a flow through position so
looking for stretch into Controller's
organization, National Business Team,
field or potentially other function
