Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing financial control
processes and procedures, complying with
existing corporate controls and interfacing
with the finance department on a day–to–day
basis
- Manage and control the expenditure of crew payroll,
crew travel and ground transportation costs on
a day-to-day basis
- Must be able to successfully execute financial plan
for the company
- Coordinate with other crew resources planning
functions, develop effective action plans to
accurately forecast and control costs
- Coordinate closely with crew scheduling, travel and
finance
- Prepare clear and creative operational and financial
analysis to understand the drivers of key
variances
- Must anticipate operational disruptions and solve them
in a proactive manner
- Prepare financial plans and accurately forecast
results
- Must be able to work with all crew support systems
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- Minimum five years of comprehensive financial control,
financial planning or budgeting experience
required
- Must be able to work collectively in a team based
environment
- Must have demonstrated successful organizational and
administrative skills, with well-above average
problem-solving skills and initiative
- Must possess leadership, command presence,
sophistication and maturity to support
activities in the crew resource function
- Must be able to demonstrate the desire and ability to
work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Must demonstrate flawless integrity and be perceived
by crew members as a leader capable of
inspiring extraordinary individual
