Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for purchasing goods and services
- Assist
in the development of a new purchasing process and operating procedures
- Responsible
for assisting Director of Purchasing on special projects
- Must
perform considerable financial and operational analysis
- Must
play a key role on a number of internal teams and work effectively in a
collaborative team-based environment
- Responsible
for oral and written presentations to the highest management levels
- Develop
and maintain supplier relations
Credentials/ Knowledge/ Skills Preferred:
- Bachelor’s
degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- Six
years of comprehensive purchasing, contract negotiation, financial
analysis or other related experience required.
- Must
demonstrate the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress
environment
- Must
be high energy, high impact, career-minded individual with above average
career ambitions
- Good
organization and planning skills
- CPM
designation preferred but not required
- Must
be able to travel
