Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Generate annual tax program time line and assure
timely execution
- Develop tax preparation eligibility lists, and other
supporting information to assure timely tax
preparation
- Administer delivery of tax information such as W - 2's
and compensation reports to the tax service
provider and to expatriates
- Coordinate tax activity between the client's
International Assignments HR, Accounting,
Payroll, Corporate Tax and the firm
- Develop and maintain tax spreadsheets such as
hypothetical tax calculations, and Gross - up
calculations for the client's Control and
International Assignments HR.
- Communicate changes and tax process developments with
expatriates
- Analyze problems in the tax program and implement
solutions
- Responsible for providing tax cost estimates/accruals
for expatriate assignments
- Administer check requests and wire transfers to
expatriates and to certain foreign tax entities
- Investigate equalization issues and render
recommendations to settle disputes
- Must be the focal point for questions regarding the
client's tax program and tax policy
- Responsible for documenting policies, practices and
procedures
- Perform work on special projects such as overall
process improvement, payroll issues, collection
procedures, and cost centers database tracking
for chargeouts
Credentials / Knowledge / Skills Preferred
- Bachelors degree required
- Three years experience in Expatriate Tax
- Strong leadership abilities a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Effective administrative and organizational skills
